Tui is the name of a New Zealand bird & Anthony & Jo named her before they went to NZ & then went & left her with us !! She is the only dog we have now & is benefiting from all these walks I go on to get photos for 365! She pretty much looks after herself usually as we have never had to take our dogs walks because living on a farm she just walks where she likes, usually round to the neighbours for food !!!
She needs to go on a diet so think I may write a label to go round her neck saying ''Too fat please do NOT feed ''' !!!!
That is so funny - she looks incredibly sweet. I miss having dogs but Hank and I work and he doesn't want to get a dog only to leave it alone all day. I agree, so just waiting to retire.
Oh but what can you do with those eyes?! Are you thinking of getting a new dog to kep her company? Our cat has had to return from next door as they are on holiday and she's eating for England - Nigel keeps mentioning worms which isn't very festive!
Poor Tui! Who wants to be on a diet with such kind and willing neighbors willing to give out tidbits! LOL Yes, you can sometimes inherit some interesting things from your children. But Tui seems like a pretty sweet gift (on loan?) :)
@judithg definatly not Judith, she will hopefully keep going for another 5 years or so & then that will be it ...so tying when you want to go places ! Its only since Brian & family left for NZ we have noticed , as before there was always some one here to look after any animals we had.
@meisen325 Yes you are right & they are very tying too ! Lovely company though ! If we did have another it would have to learn to go to kennels but if we go away to NZ for a couple of months it would cost a fortune !
@karenann Not on loan Karen & we have the cat Lily who is a left behind one too so none of our pets at the moment actually belong to us !!! Tiu just lives to eat unfortunately !!!
