Secret door.

One of my favourite books is The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, I just loved it as a child & the film is so lovely! Probably that is where my love of any picture of a door comes from !

On my travels this morning I saw this door & couldn't resist posting it too.

Oh it's a lovely photo and yes ...Secret Garden is just the best story!
I loved the version that BBC did when I was doing my teacher training (74 or 75?) and remember rushing home from my placement to see it on tv just before tea. Still have my battered but well loved book!

I'm with you, Pat. I love the mystery of doors and what's beyond. And an enclosed garden is absolute frosting on the cake. I enjoyed that book too but didn't see the movie. And this photo is wonderful . . great the color tones and the greenery is beautiful . . sort of untamed and lush. :)
