I cringed when I saw Max walking on the gravel like this but all kids seem to go barefoot most of the time when not in towns.
The stones didn't seem to bother him at all !!
Ooh it looks painful. My mum was a great believer in me going barefoot as much as possible but it didn't make my feet any less sensitive, I couldn't walk on stones like this now.
