@fannyb There has been much compost worked into this soil although we do have good black soil on the Fylde anyway. Just below the bags of potatoes are the discarded compost bags. We don't have any muck of our own now.
Great shot Pat, I haven't planted any potatoes for a couple of years now - I always used to plant them in a dustbin as I've not got much garden space. Always got a good harvest - this looks a great space for planting! Good to see you have a helper doing the hard work!!
