Corn on the Cob.

Maize growing in the fields near Rufford. This was a farm growing crops for eating..... carrots, lettuces etc. This corn on the cob will be grown for human consumption & not cattle feed.

Lovely colors and lines! So exciting to see new growth. We have been eating corn on the cob - first time it has been shipped in, usually we only get local corn at the end of summer, we have no idea where it has come from, but it is delicious.
