Yesterday this road was flooded the whole of the way across.....the same place we stood under the trees on the right to watch the Olympic torch.
Traffic lights were put up first thing for the whole of St Michaels main road. There were queues either side just letting one way through at once.
It was very frustrating there fore to find last night & still at lunchtime today that the traffic lights were still up & no flood.
We are true queuers in our country because every one was sitting patiently waiting even though the road was clear.
WOW where did all the water go?
Hope not too much damage done!

I remember Allan commenting on that when he worked in Prague and the queue system at the post office was a whole new experience!
@bpaquette It was amazing Barbara how we all sat behind red lights & gradually made our way to the front & just a row of cones for quarter of a mile but no reason for them there! there was no agro or trying to get past we all just queued!!
