Watch that wave!

A filler today but I wanted to use this photo at some time as I remember being quite startled to see this guy on crutches so close to the sea!
This photo was taken on the evening we were watching that sea rescue & the waves were quite rough although it doesn't show so much here.

He was either brave or foolish!

One leg? Ex-soldier maybe? The wars have certainly noticeably increased the number of amputees around - looks like it isn't stopping this chap though.

Or it is so everyday, the crutches, that for him it is just that, every day. Poor guy. My father in law ended up with two prosthesis due to diabetics and he got around great.
