Thats amazing , how absolutely lovely your event is so well attended, makes all the work worthwhile.......looks like a good day too, so pleased for you and all the work..........have a restful week next week!! Sleep well!!
ooh dear Pat I just typed a big long comment and then occidentally lost it !!!
great colours, great subject and of course superb use of a letterbox !!
BTW : In answer to do I like my DSLR....yes I do (had it since 2008) ....but if you look at my 365 I shoot most of the time with my little panasonic compact PS. It your P&S does aperture and shutter priority then you can be as creative as you can with a DSLR.
Many manufacturers now do compact cameras with interchangeable lenses, but they come at a price !! Remember too that a DSLR can be quite heavy , especially when you have zoom lenses on. If you go to a camera shop they will let you handle a DSLR with lenses. See how you feel when you've had a 'feel of a DSLR' . A DSLR is a lot to hug around when you go on your walks, but a DSLR can be a lot of fun and is a great addition to your collection .
@phil_howcroft Thank you so much for this reply to my question. How irritating to lose it too, I am quite a slow typer & it drives me mad to have to write at all again!
I think I will still shoot 75% of my stuff on my P&S but might still consider getting a DSLR , one that is perhaps an older model just to use for an interest in a change of lens. Not worth spending a fortune on but I'm pretty sure the older ones work as effectively as the latest model. I saw lots of cameras over the last couple of days funnily enough nearly all were Olympus. I held a few &they were quite heavy..one of them had a battery holder attached to the bottom!
The Sony compact you can change lens with came out about a month after I bought mine!
Thank you for your thoughts & no confusion!
