First try!

Well not that brilliant but thought I would make a start!

Reading the book & practicing last night seemed rather easy but a different story when I went out to actually use the new camera...I couldn't remember a thing!!!
One of the worst things has been down loading the photos onto the computer...I kept losing them.

Hopefully I will improve soon , early days yet!!

You got it! You have started! Well done! I keep a folder on my computer's desktop for pictures from my camera and sometimes dump them all into that, then sort them out.

I think that it is a beautiful pov and dof, Pat. You are already getting great photos. Unlike me .. I can't read that book without getting a headache. It's taking me forever to learn each setting...but I keep plugging away. I only learn by actually "doing it and by making mistakes." Day after day. :)

Congratulations on your new camera, Pat. You seem to be doing quite nicely. I like this shot. I wish I had more time to experiment and learn with mine. One of these days...
