I wanted a large blue toned canvas to go on the wall opposite the beds in our newly decorated room. I looked all over & liked none of them then I suddenly remembered @judithg saying her daughter had got one of her photos done on canvas for her so here is mine!
Done by Timpsons ,it is a picture measuring 30'' x 20'' of Waihi Beach NZ taken this January
I am hoping people will lie in bed & try to pretend they are on the beach...if they squint their eyes that is!!!!
The other picture is one my mum had & it goes perfectly with the colour scheme.
Ooo thats come out really well..........locally produced art work!! You should join Groupon they often put up offers on photo canvases, I had one done, also a beach!!
getting one's pictures onto print and canvas is always exciting Pat. I remember the original shot of this beach and loved it when you posted. You should have put a little "Pat Knowles 2013" signature on the bottom corner so all your guess know what a talented proprietor they have :)
What a great idea to do it on canvas - and the colors are perfect (so is the subject matter!) !! I had a few of mine done as photo prints for Mom for Christmas - they were 11x14 inches for under $6US each, and photo frames from the Dollar Store.
What a good idea!!! Will keep in mind for future reference!
