Arthur & Vivs place. by happypat

Arthur & Vivs place.

I can hardly believe this garden as 20 years ago we used to farm this field & had our calves in the stone barn that is now Arthur & Vivs house.

The white building you can see on the right in the main picture is for @sarah19 benefit the Green Man pub where she & Allan have eaten when they stayed with us.
There has been a lot of money spent on this garden over the years & it is truly magnificent. The water you can see in the foreground is part of a small river that has recently been added.

When we went to their wedding all they wanted for presents were white plants for their garden!

Arthur bought Viv the unusual summerhouse in the lower part of the garden & I was interested to see it had easels & painting equipment in there.

Yesterdays dove cotes are in this garden too!!!
Wow Pat, isn't it just wonderful? And I so love the wedding presents idea. That is a garden that is just crying out for a party!

Wow! This gives me hope for my garden. My yard had absolutely nothing in it except a pair of ancient apple trees and now has flowers amongst the weeds.
I guess time and patience is the secret to a great garden.
Wonderful collage.
