Loved the fish & chip sign outside St Pauls...they get everywhere!!

I have no idea why all the wreaths are under the statue, I never thought to look...perhaps someone knows?
Might be something to do with what the statue is for.

I love that sculpture - it's the National Firefighters Memorial - more here http://www.firefightersmemorial.co.uk/ - there it says they have a remembrance service every September, so I suspect that's what the wreaths were from.

@boxplayer Thank you Isla I knew someone would know..I never thought it would be the fire fighters memorial though. I suppose those wreaths are on for the 9/11 anniversary too.
