Grand Central Station.

After we had walked Brooklyn Bridge we needed to get back to Macy's to do a wee bit of shopping before going to the airport.
It would take too long on the bus so almost flagged a taxi down but decided to be brave & take the subway....Grand Central Station was on our list anyway & the subway went there....it was just like the tube in London & we managed perfectly!
It was the best station I have ever seen.....just beautuful!

@beryl It was beautiful Beryl...the ceiling was pale blue with sort of signs of the zodiac figures etched plus littke sparkly lights.

Good to have all the signs in English for the subway experience! In Lisbon we got lost, in Tokyo we went the wrong way, in France, we managed but got into a first class cabin instead of tourist!
