Sheep grazing sugar beet. by happypat

Sheep grazing sugar beet.

I wished I had used this photo for my main post today so I have added it in extras.

Not sure if my followers of old remember young Harry with the chicken, well this is his farm.
Young Harry has now left school & is an apprentice tractor machanic at the big tractor dealership near Garstang.
He is about to take his driving test....I feel old!!
I grew up in sugar beet territory in Wyoming. I find this makes me nostalgic

I always feel sorry when I see the sheep in the muddy beet fields - but they seem to enjoy to graze the beet and don't mind the mud !

Thank you all. Not doing well with commenting tonight, it's late & have been busy tonight. I think you are are all good not to think these sheep are in too much mud. I did hesitate to,put photos like this up but although it looks muddy they are quite happy in there eating fodder beet, access to green fields too but obviously by nature this is churned up a bit.

Great photo. Don't think we have sugar beet as far north as this. But I love big skies.
