I realised this morning as I logged onto FB, that today was WWM 2017, and I had zapped on it completely! However, I managed to set up a wee selfie in the garden this evening in order to record a shot for the moment. Must change the time on my camera - it thinks it was taken at 1808 hrs.
Oh I'm glad I'm posting early so I could be reminded of this. I participated last year and enjoyed viewing the photos so much! I need to set my alarm to take another photo at that time.
Nice action shot, btw. I like your forsythia.
Great shot for worldwide minute! Fortunately, I viewed this photo early this morning or I might have forgotten about wwm2017. So, thank you for reminding me because I definitely wanted to participate this year for the first time. :-)
Great selfie Issi! Unfortunately I was up and out early yesterday morning and the wwm missed me completely! It was only this morning that I have seen all the wonderful shots taken all round the world.
@julzmaioro That's one of the good things about winter here ... I get to forget about the garden for about 4 months Dec through to March. That grass is calling my name now though!
@pamknowler I was lucky to see @juliamaioro 's shot from NZ first thing in the morning before I headed out cycling, so spent my time in the saddle thinking about where I could be at 1747 ... I decided the garden was the easiest place to be as I didn't have a great deal of energy left after my cycling! We should fix it in the diary for next year! :-) It's a fun event.
@skstein No, it's not, it just looks like it in this photo. Spring is just beginning. I was raking up some leaves left over from autumn, which had lain beneath the shrubs, keeping weeds at bay over the winter! Grass has now had it's first mowing! It was 20 degrees yesterday. Back to 13 today though.
@randystreat Ha ha ... that's funny. Mhairi only posted a photo because I asked her to - she didn't get time to be anywhere interesting, so just leaned out her bedroom window and took a photo of the buildings in her street.
Nice action shot, btw. I like your forsythia.
