Danbo and Cubey's First Playdate

had his first playdate with Taffy's Danbo: http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph

Taffy dubbed him by a nickname, "Cubey," and they had a great time playing together while Taffy and I spent hours experimenting with her "cowboy studio" and various lighting schemes. What I learned is that I know nothing about flash photography, and I need to buy a diffuser of some sort.

I like the lighting in this -- there's such clarity in each of the figures and nothing in the way of distracting shadows. Color tones are also "true." I also like it compositionally in terms of balance among the sizes. It was great fun to experiment with lighting.

@bill_fe -- thanks. This was taken in @Taffy 's "cowboy studio" and led to my husband getting me a table top studio for Christmas. The studio we used here allowed us to get good color even with a flash.
