A Meat Eater and A Vegetarian

Two artists came to my house to work together on a book. One came from Korea, the other from Brazil. They did not speak each other's languages. One brought a piece of paper with some words written on it, a few sheets of neon colored paper, and a few pens; the other brought two huge rolls of background paper that had been prepared in advance and printed onto contact paper. One painted in muted colors with wide brush in big strokes; the other made tiny, precise lines in vibrant colors. One could make stacks of background papers in minutes; the other made one page of tiny figures in a day. One wanted steak at every meal; the other loved animals too much to eat them. One only wanted to eat at meal times; the other snacked throughout the day.
You could not have met two such different people Junko - different in almost every way. Your images convey these differences so well!! But in the end I bet they both produced wonderful artistic work. It takes all sorts and it wouldn't do for us all to be the same!! LOL!!

Oh my goodness. What an unlikely pair! Sounds like they kept you busy, but in a good way! Lovely image to convey the differences!

Oh, and I'm assuming the Brazilian was the meat eater?!

@jamibann -- You'd think, but no, he was the vegetarian!

@jyokota How funny. The Brazilians have such a reputation for their meat restaurants, I felt sure I was on a winner there! You never know, do you?!

Were they friends of yours? Or do you run a bed and breakfast? Both dishes look wonderful. I'd like some of each.

@skstein -- They are friends of mine. I've often joked that we run a bed and breakfast, though. The eggs were really wonderfully textured like a fluffy souffle.

Fantastic story and my hunger defers to either dish!
