This pear tree was planted almost two years ago. I used Jerome's technique (well, no ladder climbing for me!) and held up the black background while shooting with the other hand, trying to maintain balance and steadiness. I did it out in the backyard as he said he did not destroy nature to photograph his flowers.
A beautiful image! I’m impressed with your ability to hold the backdrop with one hand and photograph the blossoms with your camera, hand held, oh my! I’ve always said it would make for a great picture storybook to have photos of photographers while they were taking photos.
