Wistfully Wishing . . .

So fun to see how even when we both take photos that clearly are at the same place, our "take" on the scene is different. Taffy's has a wonderful composition of the line that the water makes behind the flowers, accentuated in color by the lily pads, and my focus is clearly on the flowers and my background is merely color palette. Yesterday's post was taken from lying on the ground to get the sky behind them (and yes, if you do such things when with a photo buddy you get photographed in that position). I will always be fascinated by looking at the different perspectives of photographers while walking together.

I like this a great deal, the soft reflection layer juxtaposed with the crisp flowers with such lovely tones of green.

Beautiful capture and composition, so different from Taffy's, but just as lovely.

I was going to say ' you couldnt make those patterns up' but then I realised that I meant exactly the opposite - they are like doodles on sticks. Really lovely.

Oh, wow, this is a great angle! I love your composition with the water comprising the top third. Still can't get the pom pom image out of my mind though! :-)

The bokeh is fantastic and your straight-on angle works really well. I did love this section of the walk -- the colors were just amazing.
