So Joan @joansmor couldn't believe I went to Maine and photographed a truck repair garage and said she would have taken me to see lighthouses. Here's one I did see, Joan!
Marshall point is one of the lighthouses I have plans to visit next year. I haven't been down Port Clyde in ages/ Well you are in the area hope you get to see the breakwater lighthouse in Rockland. And all the wonderful windjamers sailing out of Rockland.

It was a challenge to try to figure out how to make this famous lighthouse look interesting so I tried a variety of foregrounds. The seaweed was interesting but the rocks under the lighthouse were particularly beautiful. But when you are too close you can't get the rocks and the lighthouse. I spent an amazing two weeks in Maine at Maine Media Workshops and it's made a big difference in how I pursue photography and view my own work.
