The stark contrast of dead trees against the deep sand dunes and clay basin, the morning light making it all glow, I so wish I could go back to spend more time there. One morning and one evening is not enough. Yet I feel so fortunate to have had this experience at all.

I just have to ask Junko - did you do the sand dune excursion? Our daughter posted a few images to her facebook page - incredible with knife-like edges to dunes, amazing shadows and dunes going right down to the ocean. :)
