We survived the storm but our basement and garage got flooded. We must have had 10+ inches of rain over three days and all that rain seeped up into our basement and garage. We've only had this issue once before during hurricane Michael when we had excessive rain over the course of a few days. We worked on it this morning and it is slowly drying out. At lest we knew exactly what to do this morning... having done this once before.
My sister did just fine in the storm but my brother was hit by a surge from the late evening high tide and had water come in his home, garage, vehicles and camper. He had 20" of rain in the house... at least ours was just an inch or two. He will be cleaning up for awhile. He alos lost power... luckily our power stayed on.
Really beautiful with the colours, the light, the water droplets! Fav (So glad to hear that everyone is doing okay, but cleaning up is quite a job, especially for your poor brother! 20'' of rain in his house- how scary! )
