"Mother"

This is a 1925 Buzza motto picture of "Mother", one of Maurine Hathaway's writings. It has always been one my favorite poem pictures. I lost Mother on Valentine's Day in 1999, I miss her every day. This is for the February Word for today, Poetry.

Oh thank you thank you; I only just saw this! How lovely! What you love, and those things with which you surround yourself say a lot about you. I'm all the more sorry you should have lost your mother on Valentine's Day as *holiday losses* (I think) make the pain worse while others are celebrating. Having known such love in your childhood, I'm sure you have much to give to others.
