I’m showing off for you, don’t you think I’m handsome?

The Anole male lizards puff their pink throats out when they are courting! Quite fun to watch them scamper, stop and puff, then scamper again! This for the half and half challenge today.
I am sure his lady friend thinks he is very handsome. I hope she is suitably impressed.

I'm not much of a lizard person, but I do think it would be an interesting thing to see. Good catch!

What a little charmer! I love my little prehistoric garden lizards, but they don't know how to put on a show...at least not one that I'm aware of!

What a wonderful half and half. He is really puffing.

@olivetreeann @carole_sandford @happysnaps @Weezilou @henrir Thank you for your comments! We have lots of lizards this year. Based on that we shouldn’t have any mosquitos or flies, right?

The only place I've seen them do that is here on 365 - how neat to actually watch them do it!

@louannwarren We are flooded with them this year as well! We've found MANY babies! I also commented today that the bees have been plentiful and I was enjoying several types of butterflies out back, too! I couldn't be more delighted! Wonderful, isn't it?!

@Weezilou we have a bumble bee that is really hovering in our back yard. I think he’s the hive scout, I have no idea where the hive is though. Just a few butterflies here so far.

@milaniet I would have thought you would have the Anoles in Arkansas. I’m glad to have them, I think they help with bug control. Ha! @ziggy77 Thsnk you!
