Calvin’s garden goddess by louannwarren

Calvin’s garden goddess

When my friend Calvin got out of the hospital I asked him what I could bring. He said “all I want is some of your chicken noodle soup and your cornbread”. It was midday while I was there and the sun was glaring on his flowerbeds, but I did capture this garden statue.

Beautiful and perfect half and half. And I can understand his desire for your cornbread. It is always wonderful.

Your cornbread obviously gives before you! I buy cornbread at our local bakery, the guests love it, I wonder if it's anything like yours?

Corn meal, flour, baking powder, salt, touch of sugar, 2 eggs, buttermilk, stick of butter! Baked in a hot cast iron skillet! @happypat

Pretty statue- I think you could do a close-up of the face in black and white very nicely.
