Dad and his new offspring by ludwigsdiana

Dad and his new offspring

Early September I noticed that the couple of Dikkops living behind my backyard fence have a chick. For the last ten years he has always been here. He has a lump on his left knee so it's very easy to identify him. Not sure if the mrs is always the same one. I will follow the progress of this little family in this album. No need to comment, I just want to document it for myself.
Nice parent & child shot. They blend in so well with their background!

Cute family portrait! It would be interesting to see if the baby has a lump on his knee as well!
