Finally the Fishing contest was held today after a delay of 2 weeks due to dangerous conditions. The boats all go out via tractors, at 5am and come back loaded with fish The men of the Lions Group, help the boats back on to their respective trailers and tow it away to be parked. There were prizes for the heaviest type and afterwards, the filleted fish was auctioned off to the public. The sea was like glass and the fish were there!
In the background is the famous Fleur's Restaurant. She, Fleur, has a quota of fish that just come right up in boats to her kitchen to be cooked.
