These 6 and 7 year olds are about to perform at the North Otago Competitions held in the Opera House. Here they are practicing with their buckled shoes, the knock and click for the Irish Reel.
They look very pretty maggiemae & rather less flamboyant than the original which always have their hair bushy with ringlets & sticky out dresses ! This is a more refined version I think ! Love to watch Irish dancing !
