This is what we call ourselves. Today we were playing in the local library as part of Music Month. At this time the song was Choo Choo Cha Boogie mentioned in my photo of Railway Huts. My ukelele is down on the floor as I'm taking this photo. Its green and on the right.
Wow! We were friends over 20 yrs ago in Dunedin. I haven't seen her since then, apart from receiving a couple of letters. I must look her up. NZ is a very small town!
Great shot of the group, Maggiemae! LOL! This so reminds me of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. I love those guys and gals! Never cared for the uke until I saw and heard them!
Love this!! Now that looks like everyone is having a wonderful time and playing such joyful music! Music is "good for the soul." And I absolutely believe that!
@tesnonian@hjbenson The guy with the yellow trousers looks a bit grim because he can't remember the notes on the uke! However he has a brilliant voice and can carry the song thus!
