Snowdrops on the Afternoon Tea Table

Book Club once again and at this farmhouse in the country with a beautiful garden, these little snowdrops were brightening the landscape which has been in snow. Carrot Cake on the left and asparagus rolls with a basil pesto cream some of the delicious offerings!

I love asparagus rolls so much. The only day I teach is Friday and that is morning tea day. If I'm lucky someone will have made asparagus rolls. Carrot cake is the only cake I have successfully made and that was 30 years ago.

Yum, it all looks great. Now I love asparagus, but I have never had or seen an asparagus roll. How are they made? And I always feel like I'm eating healthy when I have a slice (or two) of carrot cake ; )

@yonnie Nice soft thin bread, cut crusts off, spread bread with cream cheese or pesto cream, lay asparagus down on rectangles roll up! Divine!
