I noticed this sunset for its layers of clouds. The lower ones are at the bottom behind the tree silhouettes and then the next layer had the gold tips! The top layer was a different type of cloud and a lot higher so this streak of sunset light was very brief! Gone in 5 minutes!
@northy I just noticed out the window and grabbed my camera - no time for a tripod so jammed the camera against a pole outside the door! Went back to get the tripod, out again and it was gone!
