Because of the events around the Benmore Dam spill in my other photos, the level of the lake was raised. Thus it was difficult to find a good spot for a picnic. However down here under the trees we sat happily, munching our ham sandwiches and drinking ginger beer (lashings of!) A family of ducks quietly swam in to this area but left after a dog barked. A little bird pecked at our feet and it was hot but in the shade, delightful!
