Oddball by maggiemae

Oddball

This is a tiny something that has attached itself to the window on the outside. It is about as big as your little fingernail. So of course, I had to see what it looked like enlarged. This wee bug climbed over the top of it and got his photo taken too!
I can't make out whether it is a leaf or part of a flower!
It looks like the petal of an iris that somehow was detached and blown by the wind on to your window. It must have been rainy which made it stick. Sure makes for an interesting picture!

@olivetreeann It was raining but not on that window, Ann. It looks as if it itself has formed a suction cup on the window!

Interesting oddball I like the little bug investigating it.

Be careful Maggiemae. This is bordering on abstract. You have a unique eye and you are letting it develop at your rate. Good work!

When I have a bug to shoot, I say " who cares what the plant is?" haha Just kidding. This is quirky and funny! The textures in that petal or leave are really COOL!

The veins running through it are very intriguing!

Love the light running coming through it and how you can see the veins in the plant. Love that little bug.

Interesting! Yeah .... I agree with the Petal idea. Funny that the bug joined in on the action!

@espyetta Thank you Mary for commenting - its the curiousness in us that raises the ordinary to something of worth!

Deb
Nice shot :D

It looks like a leaf of some kind
April 23rd, 2013
Well, it's something. Can you tell us what?
April 23rd, 2013
@ptowncook No, I can't Laura - when I next looked it was gone! It must have just gone smack into the window, then when it dried out, it fell off - hey just looked on the window sill outside and its a petal off a flower! Can't identify it - not from a rose which is nearby!
