Bleached trunks

I stopped at this park to take a photo of the trees and thought my trusty steed needed a photo too! In these two paniers I have had 4 supermarket bags of food sometimes weighing up to 10 kilos! I push the bike up the hills and cruise down them!
That keeps you in shape! Interesting trunks- do the trees naturally turn that color or is it from weather?

Its just natural weathering - they are gums (from Australia) @olivetreeann

How very "green" of you! (you know...not using any gas and what not!)

Great shot. Love the trees and love that you ride your bike to do your shopping. I like that idea..but with all the busy traffic on our roads I just don't feel comfortable. Great exercise for you!!!

Didn't realize just how 'green' you are !! Love the capture and revealing your steed.

So that's why you look so fit then Maggiemae.

@jantan thats a nice thing to say, Jan but my middle has gone somewhere that is not comfortable! To touch ones feet with hands in an upright position used to be easy!

Wonderful capture Maggie.

Beautiful tranquil wooded scene looks so lovely Maggie mae !

I love the "cruise down " the hill part, these two blue paniers are huge for the bike. Very practical. I am planning a bike trip for 3 days. I will get one like yours.

@tremerryn thanks Ms Tremerryn! There is always a great scene to be photographed in NZ but I do love Cornwall!

Aussie trees...yay!
My poor bike is hanging in the shed gathering cobwebs.

My bike is the shed, been there for a number of years, don't want to wear it out.

Trees are so interesting. I wish I had your motivation. My bike has been sitting in the garage all summer. I think I've ridden it twice. Gotta do better.

hopefully no ice cream melting as you took this!

i always envy anyone who could ride a bike. the bike i ride is stationary and doesn't go beyond the walls of my living room. i hate it. but if i could ride a bike, yes, it would hold more than 10 kilos of food, too!
