Wild New Zealand Country

Driving along the Maruia River though the upper, centre of the South Island there were not many houses about. Beautiful verdant fields and mountains on either side well over 1600metres high. Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony went well with this territory!

Hope the people in the little house have an access path down to the river. Interesting to see the water level marks on the cliff.
