Look away if you have this condition! Its my first spider shot! He was running all over the wall and I tapped in front of him then behind him until he didn't know which way to run and just sat on the deck. I then got a good shot. Went inside for indentification and found this type but the heading was Katipo! This is NZ's only deadly spider and not at all common! After an initial panic attack, I delved further into google. It had no orange on it so was not one of these. Still haven't identified it so I think it is just a common old spider!
Lots of spider stories in the UK at the moment...false widow spider closing a school & now some baby spider eggs on a banana skin & they had to get the house fumigated! Never bothered about a spider before but when you read all these scare stories you look a little closer at them...a very clear shot here !
OMG!! He's a big one!! Scary! Great capture with amazing detail though. I've never seen one like this one. I hope we don't have any here!! Wow! You are brave!! I hate spiders!
