This is the RV that I fell in love with and the bargaining paid off. We traded our caravan for this plus a bit more. I spent the morning polishing the far corners to make a good impression. And it did!
You can see my camera bag on the right!
So excited!
Lovely! Very smart. We had a caravan for a few years , but we never used it enough to justify the costs of insurance, storage, servicing etc. We bought a brand new one and I think that was the mistake. We sold it 2 years later and lost a lot of money. Hope you have loads of fun with it. It looks beautiful. Love the duvet! I'm just a tad jealous!
@snaphappi We had built a little caravan park in our small section and that is where it will stay. But would like a cover or a roof - maybe in the future!
Exciting stuff! I must say you dont t waste much time! Once you have an idea you see it through to the end! Looks nice & roomy, it won't have time to be under a cover because it will never be at home! Your country is the Mecca of camper vans! Enjoy!
@happypat Quite right - so many on the road - a lot of tourists but many NZer's are doing this too - knowing that their own land has so much to offer. ....and it didn't take much to get John to agree to change.
@tonydebont The good thing about this is John doesn't have to lie on the gravel to attach connections and also wind up and down supports plus numerous other benefits! Just drive away!
That looks so lovely - I am sure you will have many happy times in that lovely home on wheels. Would love to catch up with you somewhere sometime - maybe when you head north in December!!
Happy Trails to You and yours! I bet you go a lot of places for photo opportunities! Cannot wait to see. However, the only thing you will be missing is a swimming pool! :)
it is exciting to get a new RV.
