Seeing children extending themselves always brings tears to my eyes - can't really explain that.
There were teams of these youngsters racing down by the river, over a bridge, up a hill then up a very steep mountain to the clock high up. Down again and back to the end!
Fun shot. It's great seeing kids outdoors doing physical activities like this rather that sitting inside with an IPad or some other techie stuff in front of them.
Perhaps you are moved by watching them work together. In a world where there seems to be so much divisiveness it portrays the hope that perhaps we can all get along after all. A fabulous action shot as you catch them working together and the encouragement and hope caught on the faces and body language of the spectators in the background
