I thought - she's sending me a Christmas card when she asked for my address. Then an envelope arrives from Romania... I open it, and find this lovely watercolor of my home inside.
Monica @monikozi, this is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC and I love it!!! It will get a proper matting and a proper frame to be hung in a place of prominence in my little house. I could not begin to create anything like this. You certainly have got talent and to know you painted this from one of my phone pics - makes it more special.
She also sent the sweetest handwritten letter and a little book about the real Count Dracula with some awesome photos! I was really touched by her letter and these gifts. They mean so much to me.
The art of lovely handwritten and meaningful letters is all but a thing of the past, but so special and such a delight! Monica will get a little surprise envelope from me sometime soon. We may not be official pen pals, but I'm honored she made such a sweet and lovely gesture. I must return in kind.
