You could feel the build up coming, the smell of water in the air. I saw the severe weather warning pop up and went and had a look out side and there they were, beautiful thunderheads starting to build up. After the storm and a little bit of hail there was a beautiful rainbow in the most glorious afternoon light, but I dithered too long on when and where to stop and take a shot as was driving and lost the light. Lesson learnt.
I did crop this photo and adjusted some of the contrast etc on my computer as the photo was a bit dark.
@ulla me too, had the best thunderheads last night with beautiful sunset oranges and purples but they were too low on the horizon and obscured by trees to take a photo.
