Necking Giraffes

These giraffes were feeling a bit frisky. They were whacking each other with their necks and heads which looked quite aggressive but none of them seemed to be trying to get away. I looked it up on Wiki and apparently it's part of the mating ritual. The males "neck" to sort out who's the best and gets to mate with the female.
I hope the zookeeper is watching to separate them before someone gets a broken neck! Only seen this on TV!

Also, have seen it on TV, and it looks somewhat violent. But guess they survive. Cool shots.

@deborah63 There were too females stood off to one side so I think they were showing off to them, lol!
