I thought I'd finally found a Tilly-proof toy as it was supposed to be tough, durable and pretty much indestructible. It's multi-layered with one layer being material used in flak jackets. It has eight rows of stitching and was apparently tested on tigers. However, "almost" is the key word because here's Tilly surrounded by debris from the inside of the toy!
Oh no!! We used to have a lab who would destroy things with his tail -- even by accident. We had a phrase called "it's been wagged" -- you need one called "it's been Tillied"!
@nitrogene@deliad Haha, I'm sure you're right and she saw it as a challenge! @taffy Haha, perfect phrase. Fortunately Tilly's tail hasn't done any damage yet - but then labs are very "waggy" dogs. @Weezilou@happypat@sdutoit@rob24 Back to the drawing board on finding something even more "indestructible" I think!
Ha! I don't think there is such a thing as an indestructible dog-toy. You could write to the manufacturers enclosing this pic and offering Tilly as a toy-tester. Hattie did the same thing with the last toy I bought her but on a smaller scale of course.
@snaphappi I'm sure they'll grow out of being so chewy... won't they, lol! @imaginings That sounds pretty indestructible to me - maybe I'll have to find something metal too! @phil_howcroft Anyone who's owned a dog probably does, Phil - can't help loving them though! At least she hasn't chewed up anything that's not hers... so far! @lynnz Yep, she definitely won this round! @rickster549 Always good to blame a cat! :-) @bkbinthecity Thanks - she has brief flashes of cuteness! @deborah63 and @karengail Haha, I don't think I was quite so restrained in my comments, lol! @kchuk Haha, unfortunately she can't use that excuse!

She probably enjoyed the challenge ... and she won!
