I met up with @summerfield and @Bill_fe today in Niagara Falls. We had so much fun walking through the park on the American side and taking the boat ride on the Maid of the Mist. But when it came to choosing a shot to depict the day, it had to be one I took that night! We'd gone to the Canadian side to watch the light show and it really lived up to its advertising. I hadn't brought my tripod since we were doing a lot of walking so I rested my camera on the stone wall for this shot. I'm really pleased with the way it came out!
Wonderful, unique shot of the falls, which I've never seen -- didn't realize they were lit up with color at night. Are those people there on the left? Trippy.
beautiful! i haven't even looked at mine, but i had night shots from the bridge the night we came back from medina! there was a young girl who was being teased by her friends for stopping and taking photos but she told them to "go somewhere" because whatever anyone says, niagara is awesome at night. i told her, way to go and she was quite happy i backed her up. since it was also late, there was no one at the check point and the guards chat me up about photography! what a day it was! thank you for arranging the medina trip, you are awesome!
How beautiful! I've never seen the falls at night so I never knew they did a light show! I love it. It's so pretty. You did a fantastic job capturing it. It's a definite fav for me.
