Orange did not translate as well to black and white as I expected it to. When I viewed this shot sooc there was not much contrast or detail. So this one required some post-processing tweaks.

It is a really interesting exercise isn't it. There are definitely times to use b&w and times not to! I like your processing of this, but would prefer it in colour

I would not have expected this. It reminds me of a piece of ceramic fruit. It's got a lot of texture.

@jld29 Thank you Janet- it's basically shadow spots on the surface of the Clementine.

@grammyn It was sort of surprising. I don't remember having that happen before.

@suesouthwood Thanks Sue. It is definitely better in color.

@randystreat Thank you Kathy! The texture is deceiving because the rind is more smooth than bumpy. What appears to be bumps are actually shadows.
