Conversation with the dapper gentlemen continues and Milo learns that they are The Duke of Definition, The Minister of Mentoring, The Earl of Essence, The Count of Connotation and the Undersecretary of Understanding.
"We are the king's advisors, or, in more formal terms, his cabinet."
"Cabinet," recited the duke: "1. a small private room or closet, case with drawers, etc., for keepinig valuable or displaying curiosities; 2. council room for chief ministers of state; 3. a body of official advisors to the chief executive of a nation."
Since I could not photograph a cabinet in the governmental sense today, you will have to enjoy a shot of my lovely kitchen cabinets run through the thermal effect to make them just a bit more interesting. We are running the gamut of activities today- a funeral in the morning, repast and then off to brother-in-law's for dinner and then to the theatre to see our niece perform in Cats. I will do my best to catch up on your photos tomorrow! And apologies for the lack-luster shot today!
@httpgeffed@kerristephens@digitalrn@alia_801@bruni Thanks to all- Colleen, Kerri, Rick, Alia and Bruni. We did have a good day, but definitely not the one we expected! The snow changed all our plans after the funeral, but we arrived home safely and that's what mattered the most.
