Greek became the source for all the modern letters of Europe (called scripts in language-speak). But other scripts, such as Manchu and Georgian were also developing around the same time and they have followed different patterns based on the influences of other dialects in their respective regions. Our letter H comes to us via the early western Greek dialects which had a specific letter for this sound and was retained by the Latin alphabet which became its successor.
A very strong and bold "H." And the more that you know the history of these letters the better one is able to understand the sound and the influence of the design.
