Voyager upon life's sea

While out for a walk on the beach this morning, I noticed this chap and he reminded me of the poem

Voyager upon life's sea
To yourself be true,
And whatever your lot may be,
Paddle your own canoe

Sarah T Bolton - 1850

I know he is pedalling and not paddling, but he seems very relaxed.
He does seem relaxed - nice captured Babs

This does look very relaxing- you captured that feeling well. Another great shot Babs.

Nice observation.

This guy's actually a peddler rather than a paddler. Great shot Babs, and love the poem quote.

Nice to see a peaceful photo taken in Austrailia rather than the harrowing images of the fires that seem to be all we see on the news bulletins. I hope you are safe, and stay safe from the fury of the flames

Nice relaxed capture. Once upon a time you would write this sort of poem in a friends autograph book.

@tesssa That's probably where I remember it from. Definitely a schooldays poem though.

@davidgnc Thanks David. We're pretty safe at the moment. Advantage of living near the water I suppose instead of in the bush. Haven't seen fires as bad as this though for quite a few years. Fingers crossed they don't get too close to us.
