Thong tree (flip flops)

The same chap who collects soft toys for the 'animal rescue tree' - photo a couple of days ago, also collects abandoned thongs (called flip flops in the UK) from the beach and nails them to a tree. People even leave thongs at the foot of the tree for him so he can add to his collection. We're a strange bunch here in Port Stephens!

@heidit There are more trees in this collection. I think the chap is retired. You have to have a hobby don't you. It makes people smile!
