I went to Judith's U3A Rock n Roll presentation this morning and I did intend taking a photo of that as Nicki couldn't be there. Silly me though left my camera in the car, so I thought how could I get a photo showing rock n roll. The last video and song of the presentation was Cliff Richard singing Devil Woman, so I thought okay, I'll be the devil woman and venture into the shopping centre armed with my camera again. Off I went and took this photo of guitars (albeit children's guitars) in the music shop at Salamander Bay. This was the closest I could get to rock n roll and I got away yet again with taking a photo in the shopping centre without getting arrested! The devil made me do it!!!
Nice photo, lovely colours. I really wish an organisation could have a conversation with shopping mall owners and work out what their problem really is with photography and see if some workable compromise can be achieved.
@gypsy6 Better give shopping centres a miss now, don't want to push it too much. I believe there is a notice outside our shopping centre saying 'no photos', but I haven't seen it. Maybe I should take a photo of that! Will check it outl.
@davidgnc A friend of ours works in the shopping centre and at Christmas he took his camera with him to get a photo of Santa's Grotto at 9 pm while the centre was closing. Security stopped him from taking a photo of that. I suppose the difference is that when they have photos of Santa and kids in the grotto, customers are paying for that, but you can't take a photo of the grotto with nobody in it when the shopping centre is closed. There's logic!!!
