Yesterday I fed three kookaburra's with the throw away skin and bits of raw chicken which I was cutting up. Today this chap came back to try his luck for breakfast!
He is so tame and will take food out of your hand. Even with a beak this size he is still very gentle.
I just love these birds, they are so clever and know how to get humans to do things for them. We have them living in our street but never had close contact with any of them.Great shot, so clear.
Love it! It's so cool that he'll eat out of your hand! I'd never seen a kookaburra, only heard about them, until I visited Australia last year...now I love them.
